Ranch near Kansas City

Are you coming in for a Royals or Chiefs game or March Madness? You are welcome to our home in Platte Woods. We have one large bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with shower right across the hall. The room has a lot of floor space and we have an air mattress or sleeping bags for the children. You are welcome to use our kitchen.

We are 15 minutes from the Kansas City International airport and 25 minutes from downtown and the train station. To fully enjoy the area, you need a car. However Uber is readily available and depending on the timing of your visit we may be able to provide transportation. We are a pet free home.

There are several wonderful museums including the Nelson-Atkins, the Steamboat Arabia, Science City and the Crown Center. We have wonderful local restaurants both in downtown and near our home. Other points of interest are the Kauffman, a variety of live music venues and theaters. Most require advance tickets. We also have amazing parks for children and adults!
