Pastor Sherrill and his family were so very welcoming and accomodating to my family and a teammate who came for a volleyball tournament in Council Bluffs. They kept in great contact, without hovering. They also kindly made themselves available for any needs, which was a great comfort.
When I texted my girls after their arrival at the B&B, they remarked how cute the place was. The kitchen was generously stocked with the basics and included some fun snacks and drinks. The bathroom had more than the minimum supplies, including some basics that one might have forgotten to pack. The beds were plentiful and comfortable. The furniture is perfect for the space.
Wi-fi is available. There was an XBox with some fun games to play as well as outdoor space. My family did not make use of the sand volleyball court, but everyone was delighted it was available to them.
The property is not far from any attraction one might like to visit and is quite close to a grocery store for any supplies one might need.
This place is also an unbelievable deal, which makes choosing this property a no-brainer.
Loads of room inside and out. This space would easily accommodate a large family. It offers the privacy of a separate building, and the convenience of a kitchenette. After staying there in June, I went out of my way to stay again in August. It was worth the extra drive to for the hospitalitly it offers. The Sherrills are wonderful hosts!
My family of seven (5 kids, 13 years to 5 years) enjoyed a five-night stay at “the barn” this past August. It was great! Especially for a family that enjoys being with another, and being active during the day, “the barn” is just perfect. Comfortable beds, a full-sized refrigerator with freezer, television, X-BOX 360, and a drawer full of DVD in case you have a rainy day: the Sherrills have thought of everything for a family that needs to get away and rest. My boys loved playing ball in the yard and using the batting cage. The sand volleyball court was great for the whole family. Our little ones especially enjoyed the swings and trampoline. We thoroughly enjoyed our time away at “the barn.”

Very clean with comfy beds. We didn’t spend much time there, but it was a restful and enjoyable place to return to.
