We are an American and German couple operating pension rooms in conjunction with our English Language School ministry in the former East Germany. Our building has a 500-year history and was built by the family of one of the gentlemen who helped “escort” Luther to Wartburg.
Auerbach is a picturesque, old village in Saxony, resting in the heart of the Goltzsch River Valley, surrounded by the celebrated hiking trails of Vogtland, and within two hours of Leipzig and Dresden. We are also near the birthplace of CFW Walther and other sites connected to the 1838 Saxon Lutheran Migration.
